Training Program
Setting new ITA Certified standards of quality and best practice for International Doping Control Officers.
Course format
The ITA IDCO Training Program consists of an online learning course and a face-to-face training day. It is accompanied by a comprehensive written IDCO Guide to support participants throughout the learning phase and into their work as an ITA Certified IDCO. Participants will be required to undertake and pass an examination.
Course content
The course content focuses on advanced professional and team management skills required in the elite sports setting, and effective approaches to communication to support athletes throughout the testing process. The online learning component presents the core, mandatory processes required according to the WADA International Standards.
